If you are excited by this role and want to join the team at the iconic Perth Mint, apply today.Your role as an Officer Security will involve:Oversee security management systems including Access Control, CCTV Surveillance, and Intruder Detection, ensuring robust protection of assets and infrastructureControl and facilitate the movement of personnel throughout the business premises, maintaining strict security protocols for both ingress and egressEnsure the security integrity of assets, perimeters, and infrastructure, while conducting thorough screenings of individuals and baggage across all Perth Mint sitesLiaise with management on security matters, providing comprehensive reports on incidents, faults, and operational activities, while serving as an emergency contact point for all departmentsAssist in the development of the security team, perform administrative and concierge duties, and prioritise safety at all timesExperience:Certificate II in Security OperationsSenior First Aid Certificate/Advanced Resuscitation from an accredited institutionHigh level of confidentiality and discretion, with the ability to always act in a trustworthy and ethical mannerStrong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-taskAbility to work under minimum supervision and as an effective team memberSound computer literacy skillsExcellent interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)Strong customer service skillsAbility to use initiative and good judgementIt’s easy to dismiss the perfect opportunity if you don’t see yourself as the perfect fit.
