Join the experienced team at The Rego Shop as a full‑time Mechanic. Working in our workshop in Port Macquarie, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing a vast range of vehicles to the highest standard. This is a hands‑on role where you'll get to use the latest tools and equipment to keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly. What you'll be doing Conducting scheduled services and general maintenance on a variety of vehicles Logbook servicing and repairs Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, and electrical faults Tyre fitting, wheel balancing and wheel alignments Service and repair aircon systems Completing work in a timely and efficient manner to meet customer expectations Maintaining accurate job records and documentation Ensuring a clean, safe and organized work environment Providing excellent customer service and advice What we're looking for Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Mechanic Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work Good communication skills and customer service orientation Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Current driver's license, able to drive manual cars AIS and AUVIS vehicle examiner preferred but not essential Aircon ticket preferred but not essential What we offer At The Rego Shop, we pride ourselves on providing a positive and supportive work environment.
