About the Role We are thrilled to introduce a newly created position for an Occupational Therapist, perfect for those early in their career looking to grow their skills, or for seasoned professionals. This role offers an excellent work-life balance. Based in Keilor, we also provide outreach (mobile) services, so a driver’s licence is desirable. In this role, you will report to the Practice Manager and become an essential part of our vibrant and passionate team of allied health professionals. You will deliver compassionate, evidence-based, and innovative care to a diverse caseload. Your primary focus will be providing high‑quality occupational therapy services to clients at our clinic, with occasional responsibilities in supporting Occupational Therapy students on placement, under the guidance of a Senior Occupational Therapist. We pride ourselves on fostering a wonderful working environment, supported by a highly collaborative team. If you’re ready to join a dynamic private practice that values quality care, we’d love to hear from you About You A tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent, with eligibility for membership to Occupational Therapy Australia. Applicants must be eligible for, or currently hold, registered status with AHPRA and be committed to meeting ongoing CPD requirements, as set by Occupational Therapy Australia. Demonstrated clinical problem‑solving skills in the assessment and management of paediatric occupational therapy needs, including sensory, motor, and developmental challenges. Demonstrated clinical problem‑solving skills in the management of adult functional and cognitive challenges, including those of acute and progressive neurological origin. Awareness of your clinical expertise and experience, with the ability to use initiative in seeking support from more experienced colleagues in a timely manner, as required. Experience in compassionate and evidence‑based occupational therapy service delivery, using a holistic approach (e.g., considering clients’ specific needs, as well as their family, social, and medical circumstances). Capacity for constructive self‑reflection and learning from actions and feedback. Willingness to participate in and contribute to a learning culture that prioritises innovation, collaboration, and lifelong learning. Sound interpersonal, organisational, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate and comply with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Desirable Experience Experience providing occupational therapy care to paediatric and adult clients. An evolving understanding of trends and issues in occupational therapy in Australia. Knowledge and/or experience in providing assessment, support, and education in the use of assistive technology and adaptive equipment. Experience in the assessment and management of sensory processing difficulties. Experience in supporting and empowering neurodivergent children, including those with sensory processing differences, attention variations, and autistic individuals. A valid Australian driver’s licence. Benefits of Joining Our Team Extremely supportive, collaborative, and experienced team. Continuous professional development support ($1,000 budget). No KPIs – no pressure to meet rigid targets – we believe in empowering you to work at your best, prioritising client outcomes over numbers. Working environment that values contributions to improve patient health outcomes, services, and quality. Competitive salary and access to ongoing training and mentorship. Travel allowance (for outreach clients). Company laptop and software. #J-18808-Ljbffr
