QPSC's curriculum focuses on literacy, numeracy, workplace skills, and wellbeing, complemented by holistic support services and opportunities for vocational training, work experience, and further education pathways.**About the Role**As a Teacher Aide at QPSC's Coorparoo Campus, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students to achieve success. This is a temporary position under the Department of Education Teacher Aides' Certified Agreement 2022.**Key responsibilities include:*** Assisting in the supervision of educational activities under the direction of a teacher.* Supporting small groups and individual students with literacy, numeracy, and other learning activities.* Providing clerical assistance, including preparing teaching materials and maintaining records.* Contributing to the welfare, health, and safety of students, including administering first aid (training provided).* Displaying respect, empathy, and confidentiality when working with students and their families.This role would suit someone passionate about supporting young people with diverse needs in a respectful and inclusive environment.**About You****The following traits would be beneficial:*** Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a team.* Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by students with high-level needs.* Experience in supporting students with literacy and numeracy development.* Ability to assist with administrative tasks and resource management.* Willingness to undertake training in first aid and other relevant areas.**Why Join Us**At QPSC, you will be part of a supportive and innovative team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of young people.
