Base pay range A$180,000.00/yr - A$230,000.00/yr A leading national property group is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join its high-performing design team in early 2026. Working closely with the National Design Manager and a small team of 4–5, this role also offers scope to help shape future team growth. Key Responsibilities Lead and contribute to concept design and pre-DA development across a diverse retail and mixed-use portfolio. Manage external consultants through design development, ensuring high-quality, commercially aligned outcomes. Provide strong technical input across site coordination, documentation, Revit modelling, 3D visualisation, and on-site design problem-solving. Navigate complex stakeholder environments, driving collaboration across internal teams, consultants, authorities, and delivery partners. Apply sound knowledge of planning, masterplanning interfaces, BCA, Australian Standards, and DBP Act requirements. About You Architectural background (registration not essential). Proven experience in retail design, ideally within a landlord, developer, or major tenant environment. Skilled in Revit, documentation, and technical design resolution. Comfortable working across multiple concurrent projects and in environments without rigid structure. Experience within Westfield or comparable large-format retail environments is highly advantageous.
