Part-Time Disability Support Worker – Hamlyn Terrace (35.5 hours) Join Unisson Disability as a Part-Time Disability Support Worker in Hamlyn Terrace. This role involves working a minimum of 35.5 hours per fortnight, supporting clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home. You will assist them with daily activities, help them achieve independence, and provide compassionate care. About Us Unisson is a 100-year-old disability service provider committed to enabling people with disabilities to live independent, fulfilling lives. We believe disability does not define anyone. Key Responsibilities Deliver active support aligned with each client’s goals and support plans Assist with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing) Use safe manual-handling techniques in accordance with individual plans Facilitate community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport Build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records Work collaboratively within a close-knit team Respond appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines Roster (Sample) Week 1 Monday: 3 PM – 6 AM (Sleepover 7 h) Tuesday: No shift Wednesday: 2 PM – 7 PM (5 h) Thursday – Sunday: No shift Week 2 Monday: No shift Tuesday: 3 PM – 6 AM (7 h Sleepover) Wednesday: 8 AM – 1 PM (5 h) Thursday: 2 PM – 7 PM (5 h) Friday – Saturday: No shift Sunday: 7:30 AM – 2 PM (6.5 h) Who We’re Looking For Willing to work sleepover, active night, weekend, and public holiday shifts Hold a valid NSW Driver’s Licence (P2/full) and can drive Unisson vehicles Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient Experience in disability support (preferred) Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable) Benefits Generous salary packaging (up to $15,900 annually) 17.5% annual leave loading Wellbeing leave and option to cash out annual leave Employee Assistance Programme Flexible work options and individualised training Free flu vaccinations, WhereFit membership and milestone celebrations How to Apply Click the link to apply with your resume and a short cover letter.
