Background Jbuild Construction Group are specialists in residential and remedial building and construction in Sydney (NSW). We undertake rectification works in multistorey residential and commercial buildings, including waterproofing, structural rectification, spalled concrete repair and much more. Position: Bricklayer Location: 146A Ewos Parade – Cronulla – NSW - 2230 Responsibilities Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and similar materials to construct or repair walls, foundations, partitions, and other structures. Interpret and work from plans, drawings, and specifications. Mix mortar or grout and apply it to surfaces or materials using hand tools. Measure, cut, and shape bricks or blocks to fit corners, arches, and other complex layouts. Ensure all masonry work is plumb, level, and aligned according to design specifications. Repair and restore existing masonry structures where required. Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organised work area at all times. Follow all site safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment. Collaborate with other trades and site personnel to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion. Requirements Certificate III in Bricklaying/Blocklaying (or equivalent trade qualification). Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred (work will be performed in various locations around Sydney CBD and surrounding Metro areas). At least 1 year of work experience. Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality workmanship. Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in various conditions. Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team or independently.
