About the Role The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and reflective classroom practitioner, well‑versed in the MACS Visions for Instruction and Engagement and the science of learning, a collaborative team member who contributes to shared planning and professional dialogue, focused on improving learning outcomes for all students. Selection Criteria A commitment to the Catholic ethos and the well‑being of students Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families Effective and supportive behaviour management strategies A sound understanding of contemporary teaching practices and their impact on student learning A willingness to engage in ongoing professional learning The ability to inspire and nurture a lifelong love of learning in students Special Requirements Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School, or a commitment to obtain this within five years, in accordance with MACS Accreditation Policy A demonstrated commitment to child safety and best practices in safeguarding Three referees, including one who is a current employer or principal Application Procedure Please submit your application through the 'Apply for Job' button and ensure all attached documents are completed and uploaded.
