We are seeking a highly experienced Geospatial Product Lead to oversee the strategic design, delivery, and optimisation of enterprise geospatial systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that geospatial platforms—such as ArcGIS Enterprise and associated tools—are well-integrated with enterprise systems, including SAP and Maximo, and provide high-value insights to operational, asset management, and infrastructure planning teams. This role combines deep technical expertise in geospatial systems with strong stakeholder engagement, solution governance, and continuous improvement. You will play a key part in ensuring spatial data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards, while supporting digital transformation and business performance. Key Responsibilities Technical & Solution Design Lead the technical design, configuration, and implementation of geospatial solutions across the ArcGIS Enterprise suite Ensure GIS integrations with SAP, Maximo, and other enterprise systems are scalable and supportable Oversee the quality and performance of map services, spatial layers, field mobility tools, and data models Ensure compliance with spatial data standards and metadata frameworks (e.g., GDA2020, ISO 19115) Provide solution assurance for GIS enhancements, analytics, dashboards, and data workflows Collaborate with planning, operational, and digital teams to align GIS capabilities with business requirements Work with vendors, architects, and infrastructure teams to ensure designs are practical and sustainable Enforce governance of spatial data models and contribute to technical design forums and working groups Develop and maintain technical documentation, including spatial specifications and traceability matrices Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory Engage stakeholders across business units to advise on spatial data usage and geospatial strategy Provide input into roadmap planning, platform upgrades, and strategic data initiatives Lead the prioritisation of spatial requirements and coordinate delivery across multiple teams Serve as the technical SME for integration, spatial analysis, and geospatial decision support tools Monitor GIS system usage and performance, identifying opportunities for optimisation Lead enhancements to spatial workflows, field mobility platforms, and geospatial data delivery Evaluate and recommend new geospatial tools or configurations to improve data accessibility and accuracy Support incident management and root cause analysis related to GIS platforms or spatial datasets Required Skills & Experience Minimum 8–10 years of experience delivering geospatial solutions in complex enterprise environments Extensive experience with the ESRI ArcGIS suite (ArcGIS Enterprise, Pro, Portal, Field Maps, Web AppBuilder) Strong background integrating GIS with SAP, Maximo, or other enterprise asset management systems Deep understanding of spatial data governance, metadata, and national standards (e.g., GDA2020) Proficiency in spatial databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server Spatial), Python scripting, or FME Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business domains Demonstrated ability to lead technical delivery, manage risks, and guide architecture decisions Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline Certifications in ESRI tools or enterprise architecture are desirable Experience working in asset-intensive industries such as utilities, infrastructure, or transport Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, or enterprise delivery frameworks Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Product Management, Engineering, and Project Management Industries IT Services and IT Consulting, Utilities, and Civil Engineering Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia #J-18808-Ljbffr
