Who is QAL? What You’ll Contribute To As a Skilled and motivated Sustainability Manager, you will support the development of sustainability strategies, targets and plans across areas such as Scope 3 emissions reduction, electrification, renewable energy, waste reduction, nature and offsets. Your role will balance sustainability with commercial considerations and provide expert guidance across the business, embedding sustainability understanding into airport and third‑party operations. How will you make an impact? By partnering with leaders and stakeholders to deliver sustainability guidance across ESG, operational, and infrastructure initiatives, you will help create value through ESG opportunities. You will develop and deliver strategies for electrification, behind‑the‑meter renewable energy, and storage, while driving proactive, commercially‑mindful outcomes. Key Deliverables / Responsibilities Develop sustainability strategies, targets, policies and plans for material sustainability risks and opportunities. Apply engineering knowledge to initiatives such as electrification and behind‑the‑meter renewable energy and storage. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence change and overcome barriers to sustainability adoption. Design metrics to measure implementation and impact of sustainability strategies and plans. Support internal and external communication of sustainability strategies, targets, policies and plans. Provide sustainability expertise, advice and guidance on initiatives owned or being explored by other teams. Educate QAL employees and managers on key sustainability topics, raising organisational understanding and maturity. What we offer you?
