Printing Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Printing Estimator / Planner to join our dynamic team at Mercury Walch Pty Ltd in Moonah, Tasmania. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of print projects for our diverse range of clients. The role Producing detailed cost estimates for print jobs, accounting for materials, labour, and production timelines Coordinate the flow of jobs through our printing facilities Liaising with our sales staff to understand specific print, label, mail and packaging requirements and manage the process of bringing them to life. Collaborating with the production team to monitor job progress and identify any potential issues or delays Continuously seeking ways to improve our estimating and planning processes to drive efficiencies Work within a supportive and knowledgeable team What we need from you Significant experience in a similar estimating or planning role within the design, printing or publishing industry Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly and accurately calculate job costs Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues Proficient with industry-standard estimating and planning software. Accura experience an advantage.
