This role is ideal for someone who combines strong valuation expertise with advanced analytical skills and enjoys working across property research, pricing, and project strategy. You’ll play an important role in providing data‑backed insights that support acquisitions, pricing decisions, project positioning and high‑level submissions across a diverse portfolio of property projects. About the Role As Head of Valuations & Research at ProjX Australia, you will deliver high-quality research, valuation‑aligned analysis, pricing recommendations and structured reporting to support decision‑making across the business. The role requires strong analytical capability, commercial awareness and excellent written communication, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insight. Responsibilities Market Research & Analytical Insight Conduct detailed market research including sales evidence, market movements, supply pipelines and pricing trends. Produce analytical summaries to support submissions, pitches and strategic decisions. Prepare structured competitive positioning analysis for active and upcoming projects. Build and maintain pricing models and feasibility inputs for projects. Prepare pricing recommendations supported by valuation logic, CMA inputs and comparable sales. Analyse comparable projects across SEQ and regional NSW to support strategic recommendations. Prepare data packs, heat maps, charts, and valuation‑aligned insights. Ensure valuation assumptions are consistent with market realities and project strategy. Coordinate and manage valuers during settlement stages, ensuring all required documentation, evidence and access is provided. Ensure valuation queries are addressed promptly and professionally. Monitor valuation outcomes and prepare internal summaries for the Director and project teams. Revenues, CMA & Valuation Reporting Prepare Revenue models, CMA reports and valuation‑based insights for internal and external use. Maintain a structured approach to revenue forecasting and pricing dependencies. Ensure all valuation reports are supported by accurate comparables and evidence. Prepare Due Diligence (DD) reports, valuation reports and structured analysis packs for projects. Ensure reports meet professional valuation standards and ProjX reporting expectations. Support the Director with documentation used for acquisition, feasibility and lender discussions. Maintain active competitor inventories across relevant markets. Track sales velocity, incentives, pricing shifts and marketing activity across competing projects. Provide regular internal updates and contribute to pricing workshops. Submission, Proposal & Pitch Support Produce high-quality research, contextual data, location summaries and strategic insight for proposals. Support Director and project teams with structured, data‑backed material used in major submissions. Reporting & Internal Communication Prepare weekly, monthly or project-specific reports covering market activity, pricing, and performance. Produce a quarterly ProjX Research Paper summarising market shifts, pricing movements, supply trends and relevant valuation insights. Deliver concise and evidence‑based commentary to guide internal strategy and project positioning. Present insights clearly and confidently to internal teams. Produce data dashboards and summaries to support operational and sales decision‑making. Digital Tools & Research Platforms Use property data platforms and mapping tools to produce accurate and informative outputs. Support the business with digital tools connected to research, analytics and data handling. Documentation, Templates & Quality Control Maintain consistency in research formats, templates, wording and outputs. Ensure all material delivered is accurate, professionally presented and aligned with ProjX standards. Work closely with sales, marketing and operations to ensure aligned and accurate project information. Assist with briefing documents, fact sheets, and analytical inputs required for project launches. About You You’ll excel in this role if you’re analytical, proactive and confident working with valuation evidence, pricing data and complex market inputs. We’re looking for someone with: AAPI Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) – minimum 3 years valuation experience Bachelor’s degree in Property Economics, Valuation, Economics, Finance or similar Strong understanding of valuation methodologies and market evidence Advanced Excel capability and confidence working with data Strong written communication and ability to produce polished reports Experience using platforms such as CoreLogic, PriceFinder, Terralytics (or similar) High attention to detail, structured thinking and ability to work to tight timeframes Confidence presenting insights to internal stakeholders Why ProjX Australia Competitive salary package Exposure to high‑profile developments across QLD & NSW Opportunity to contribute to project strategy and acquisition insights Collaborative team environment with direct access to senior leadership Ability to expand into pricing workshops, feasibility inputs and broader analytics Ready to join the ProjX team?
