Staff/Principal/Lead-level Front End React Engineer We have a unique opportunity to lead a high‑impact 12‑month rolling contract focused on a highly scalable web application within a well‑established, innovative technology team. You will be joining a new fast‑moving Agile team, operating like a startup, within a well‑known ASX‑listed and multi‑billion dollar company. This rare opportunity allows you to lead front‑end architecture and shape the future of the company and its SaaS product. If you are a Senior Front End Developer who has led projects and possesses the ability to step up into a Lead / Staff / Principal level role, you are also encouraged to apply. NOTE: this role is Sydney‑based and hybrid – you will need to attend the office 2‑3 days per week. What we are looking for Proven experience as a Front End Lead (or Staff/Principal titles) Solid Front End Architecture experience A portfolio and background working on large enterprise projects for well‑known companies and brands in Australia. Expertise with React + TypeScript (5–7+ years) SPAs / Responsive / Cross Browser etc FE Build Tools & FE Testing Frameworks (e.g., Jest) RESTful APIs / CI/CD BONUS = Data Visualisation Libraries – e.g., D3.js BONUS = Experience working on SaaS, Data, AI‑focused platforms. Start date: ASAP (January 2026 at the latest). Rates are flexible and will match experience/level – aiming around $1000–1100 per day.
