Graduate Project Engineer role offering hands‑on site coordination and project delivery experience in high‑risk construction environments. Your Role Key responsibilities include: Implementing and maintaining project/site specific Quality, Safety and Environmental (QSE) Management Plans Reviewing project documentation and preparing Schedule of Scope Deliverables to support Subcontractor Inspection Test Plan (ITP) process and records Coordinating onsite inspections and testing in strict accordance with ITPs Organising onsite personnel and Site Inductions per QSE Management Plans Monitoring and identifying key safety risks and suggesting site improvements Maintaining project/site specific registers, forms, check‑lists, and ITPs Conducting periodic audits of QSE management controls and ensuring implementation of recommended actions Managing project/site specific defects to minimise issues upon project completion Attending onsite meetings to reinforce QSE management controls Maintaining effective communication between Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Clients (Principal Contractors) Coordinating project work‑in‑progress reports, performance analysis, and contract administration Engaging and managing project/site specific subcontractors, including performance management About You The company is looking for: High level written and verbal communication skills Bachelor of Engineering or construction related tertiary qualifications Working knowledge of relevant design and engineering software Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Current and valid Driver’s Licence – C Class Demonstrated problem solving capability Desirable attributes include willingness to lead by example, ability to meet deadlines, strong change management skills, commercial judgement, decision making, and strategic thinking Training & Development The two‑year full‑time Graduate Program offers structured units and real‑world site responsibilities to develop a range of highly sought after professional skills.
