The role is a key contact between suppliers and the development team in China, you are expected to be an expert in planning and project management to enhance the GWM brand image in Australia and New Zealand.Duties/responsibilities IncludeEnsure that accessories meet and conform to ADR requirements & industry standards. Stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive products to identify new accessory opportunities. Establish quality control procedures to ensure that accessories meet the highest standards while maintaining quality and performance standards. Provide technical support/information and conduct installation training to varied stakeholders for introduction of new models. Develop existing/new accessories to support model life management introduction. (design review, trial and evaluation, mass production until parts introduction/model launching) Develop and maintain project planning, timelines, and budgets for accessory development projects. Liaise with suppliers, internal and external customers on product or process changes (refer change management process). Assists the Vehicle Sales Team & Customer Service Team with technical questions on accessories. Skills And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical or electronic engineering, automotive technology or similar. Experience in automotive product development, preferably in accessory development. Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations with experience in Automotive OEM development process. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, manufacturing techniques and quality control procedures. Familiarity with software tools of CRM, Microsoft's Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Experience in working with suppliers and external manufacturing facilities.
