Port Kembla Base Long term role in a friendly environment MLA Wollongong Branch (formerly Bis / Brambles) are seeking experienced Plant Mechanics to join our service team supporting our largest customer, BlueScope, and our growing south coast customer base. MLA Holdings Pty Ltd is the exclusive distributor of the Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks, and Vulcan Container Handling Forklift Trucks in Australia. Responsibilities Ensure on site safety principles and standards are adhered to at all times Effectively complete preventative maintenance & repairs to OEM standards Must be able to carry out diagnostic analysis, mechanical and electrical repairs as directed on forklifts and other equipment Carry out tasks in a safe and efficient manner to the highest possible standards Liaise with Parts Department for ordering parts when required Proficiency maintaining service paperwork and timesheets Work overtime when required Qualifications & Experience Must be a Safety driven individual with thorough knowledge of all WHS policies, hazard identification & risk assessment. Certificate III in Mobile Plant or equivalent Experience & knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic and electrical systems Experience & knowledge of fault diagnostics and software Attributes Strong verbal and written communication skills Must be able to work in a supportive team environment and independently Take pride in your work and presentation Be reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic What we offer Premium Hourly Rates $$ Laundered work clothing Supportive work environment OEM product training High risk work licenses to successful applicants Access to a fully supported mental health program Bonus Incentives An attractive hourly rate package including service vehicle & mobile phone will be offered to the successful candidate.
