The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service is a not-for-profit organisation providing world class aeromedical, search and rescue services to those in need 24/7. The Service has 50 years of proud history, and operates from three bases in NSW (Tamworth, Belmont, Lismore) in addition to a Head Office and Deep Level Maintenance (DLM) facility based in Broadmeadow NSW. About the position The Service is now seeking an experienced Line Pilot to join our highly skilled team, conducting helicopter aeromedical and search and rescue operations to the highest standard of safety and professionalism. Based in Tamworth our Line Pilots report to the Head of Flying Operations and operate on a 4:4 (2 day/2 night) roster pattern. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will live within 1 hour of Tamworth and be willing to travel to other bases across northern NSW from time to time to support the operational requirements of the Service. About you To be considered you will be an experienced Helicopter Pilot who is well regarded within the industry and demonstrate the following essential qualifications and experience: CASA ATPL (H) & Current Class 1 Medical 2500Hrs Rotary Wing, 2000Hrs PIC Rotary Wing Instrument Rated on multi engine helicopters Low Level Rating with Winch endorsement Helicopter command experience in a variety of operations including NVIS and IFR Whilst not essential, AW139 Endorsement, DG, HUET, EBS and HFNTS Qualifications and experience within an EMS/ SAR environment will be highly regarded. To be successful in this role, you will be a team player with a demonstrated commitment to safety and the continuous improvement of operational process and procedures. A salary package will be determined in accordance with our Registered Enterprise Agreement.
