We’re seeking a seasoned Dams Engineer at the Lead to Principal level to join our market‑leading Northern Australia Dams Group. Our team delivers some of the most complex and high‑profile dams and hydropower projects across Australia and internationally — offering you the opportunity to lead, innovate, and make a lasting impact. This role can be based in any of our Northern Australia office locations. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you : Provide Technical Leadership Deliver expert input across geotechnical, structural, hydraulic, design, and construction management disciplines. Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes. Support Client Engagement & Business Development Build and maintain strong client relationships. Lead proposal development and contribute to strategic growth initiatives. Support Team Development Mentor and support junior engineers. Foster a collaborative and high‑performing team culture. Drive Project Delivery Identify and pursue new opportunities. Support site‑based assignments during construction phases as needed. What you will bring to the team Minimum Bachelor’s degree qualifications in civil engineering or related discipline. RPEQ registration (or commitment to attain). Be a seasoned professional with an in depth understanding of dams engineering (geotechnical, structural, hydraulic). Proven experience in design and / or construction management.
