Stepping Stones in Life Therapy Service – Darwin NT We are currently seeking an Allied Health Assistant Team Leader to join our growing Multidisciplinary allied health team in Darwin. Stepping Stones in Life Therapy Service is a small allied health team consisting of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, Art Therapists, and Behaviour Support Practitioners. We are looking for someone who demonstrates the motivation, leadership, and communication skills to support our growing multidisciplinary team to deliver services across the Northern Territory. As a Therapy Assistant you will deliver therapy programs to our clients under instruction and guidance of our qualified Allied Health Professionals. Therapy programs will include individual and group therapy programs for clients, in an individual and family‑centred model of practice. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year experience working as an Allied Health Assistant and hold a Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance Benefits of working at Stepping Stones in Life Therapy Service Access to an EAP Program Quarterly in‑house training days delivered by specialists Yearly professional development budget + 5 days study leave Team‑building days (e.g., V8 Supercars, Ladies Day Cup Luncheon) Weekly team lunches Weekly department meetings Qualities we are looking for Confident, calm, and friendly Experience delivering Speech/OT programs under supervision of a clinician Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Outlook) Familiarity with Boardmaker Strong attention to detail Ability to work under pressure Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Skilled at multitasking and taking initiative Capable of working autonomously and as part of a team High level of energy & enthusiasm towards the work you do Responsibilities Greeting clients in a professional and courteous manner Supervise Allied Health Assistants Ensure the daily operation of the AHA department Attend leadership meetings Creating resources Delivering group programs Entering data with high levels of accuracy Managing multiple tasks Assisting all clinicians in sessions in the clinic and in communities Assist in allied health sessions as required Equipment maintenance and disinfections Setting up and packing away of sessions Administrative tasks (data entry, client calendars, scanning, typing dictated notes, stocktake) The Role Full time Required before onboarding OCHRE card All vaccinations up to date Current national police check (within last 3 months) #J-18808-Ljbffr
