Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and proactive Network Engineer to join our high-performing technical team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep knowledge of networking technologies and a passion for designing and delivering robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex projects across multiple clients and environments. A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience is required. Interstate travel within Australia will be required for project deployments, client workshops, and site assessments. Key Responsibilities Network Design & Implementation Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Lead the configuration and implementation of routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, VPNs, and wireless solutions. Develop and maintain network diagrams, documentation, and as-built reports. Ensure high availability, performance, and security of network systems through proactive monitoring and optimisation. Technical Leadership Provide senior-level expertise on network architecture, troubleshooting, and incident response. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices, tools, and processes. Contribute to technical strategy, solution design, and proposal development in collaboration with account managers and Cybersecurity teams. Client Engagement Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into effective network solutions. Conduct network assessments, health checks, and workshops to identify improvement opportunities. Deliver clear and professional communication to stakeholders, from technical teams to executive leadership. Travel across Australia to support client engagements, project roll-outs, and site visits.
