This is an intermediate role, well suited to candidates who have had more than three years’ experience. Responsibilities Ideating, filming and editing videos for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube Taking photos and editing images for website and social use Ensuring all content is visually appealing and on‑brand for OurAuckland Working collaboratively with the Auckland Council comms team and the Medium Rare OurAuckland team to produce creative and engaging content Who are you? A qualification in photography, videography, video editing or relevant experience A portfolio showcasing your photography, videography and editing skills Proficiency in Adobe CC, particularly Photoshop and Premiere Pro Knowledge of camera operation, composition, lighting, and framing to capture high‑quality video footage and photography Familiarity with best practices for content on digital platforms Technically proficient with the ability to troubleshoot and problem‑solve Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues Willingness to provide production support to the wider team with a particular emphasis on storing, sharing and managing large volumes of content in line with agency processes Professional written and spoken English language skills News Benefits is our way of saying thank you to our people for their valued contribution to News, our audiences, clients and communities.
