Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job Description About Us Nauru Airlines is the national carrier of the Republic of Nauru, operating passenger and freight services to and from the Central Pacific. Operating a fleet of 737 classic and new generation aircraft, Nauru Airlines hub is in Nauru with the operational head office in the Brisbane CBD. Nauru Airlines operates under the Australian Civil Aviation Legislation to ensure we operate to one of the highest safety standards in the World. We are seeking a full time permanent Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join our growing Engineering team at Brisbane Airport working a 4 on, 4 off roster. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform inspection, rectification, maintenance, and certification on company and client aircraft and equipment, as per manufacturer’s or company’s specifications to a very high standard Ensuring timely and correct certification of all work carried out Complying with the company’s Safety Management System You must be able to demonstrate the following criteria: Hold a current unrestricted CASA Part 66 Licence in Category B1. Cert 4 in Aeroskills Hold a minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience Have excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills supported with the ability to assess and interpret options and develop solutions for the line environment Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate across all levels Possess a strong working knowledge of, and demonstrated experience in being actively involved in SMS activities (such as fatigue management, workplace inspections, reporting, etc.) Ability to successfully pass a Drug screening and Medical assessment (DAMP) Ability to obtain an ASIC Hold or ability to hold a current passport Have the ability to work shift work as required by business needs Why Nauru Airlines? The base salary for this position is $107,099 per annum, plus applicable allowances.
