About the role As Dean you will guide the strategic direction, academic excellence and operational vitality of the School of Behavioral Sciences. Reporting to the Executive Dean (CEO) you'll oversee the school's growth, wellbeing and performance – balancing leadership and management with meaningful academic contribution. Key Responsibilities Champion the school's mission through strategic leadership aligned with CHC's Christian ethos. Oversee academic programs, faculty development, student outcomes and resource planning. Lead curriculum innovation, accreditation and quality assurance initiatives. Cultivate a vibrant culture of research, scholarship and professional development. Teach at least one unit per semester in Behavioral Science. Drive enrolment growth and enhance market visibility. Forge strategic partnerships across academia, industry and community sectors. Contribute to college-wide governance and collaborative initiatives. About You You are a mature Christian leader with a strong academic background in behavioral sciences, social work, counselling or a related field. You bring : Proven experience in higher education leadership and management. A deep commitment to integrating faith and learning. Strong interpersonal and team‑building capabilities. A record of excellence in teaching and scholarly research. The ability to mentor and inspire academic and administrative staff. A forward‑thinking mindset and passion for educational innovation. Essential Qualifications and Requirements for the Role Doctoral (Level 10) qualification in behavioral sciences, counselling, social work or a related field. Eligibility for professional membership (e.g. ACA, PACFA, AASW). Demonstrated expertise in academic leadership, curriculum development and accreditation.
