About The Role The Procurement Operations and VEP Specialist plays a critical role in enabling efficient, compliant, and value-driven procurement processes across the enterprise. They will work in partnership with key technology stakeholders and act as point of contact to ensure the Procurement efficiencies are not delayed/obstructed by Technology requirements. This role supports the delivery of procurement services, ensures operational excellence, and contributes to the continuous improvement of sourcing and buying enablement activities. Role Type: PermanentRole Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands, VIC 3008Work Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week) Responsibilities Work with the Procurement Operations (Genpact) team responsible for the monitoring, review, and escalations of the VEP process. Build and maintain relationships with outsourced service providers. Maintain Group-wide VEP tools and serve as first point of contact for all BU executives using the VEP. Lead the complete adoption of the VEP across the group. Create and maintain applicable data templates and related supporting tools. Ensure a strong understanding of the VEP environment and Delivery team structure to enable rapid resolution of operational issues. Drive continuous improvement of VEP. Ensure adherence to procurement policies, standards, and regulatory requirements, including support for audit and reporting activities. Qualifications Excellent stakeholder management skills. Experience working in an operations environment with vendor management. Multi-country and multi-cultural engagement capability. Operational management experience. Ability to communicate with Delivery heads. Strong influencing skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Foundational understanding of change management techniques. Lean, Six Sigma, Agile experience. Program and Project Management experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Professional certification in procurement.
