is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Sydney or Melbourne office:Director of Government Relations, Marsh McLennan, PacificWhat can you expect?An exciting newly created opportunity has become available for an experienced Government Relations professional to join Marsh McLennan in the Pacific Region. Reporting to the Global Head of Government Relations, you will sit within Marsh McLennan’s Legal, Compliance and Public Affairs (LCPA) Department and work closely with the company’s business leadership in the region. In this highly visible position, you will be responsible for managing a government relations portfolio across Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Fiji.As the Company’s ambassador, you will establish relationships with policymakers, manage engagement with trade bodies, and strike alliances with corporate partners in the Pacific and globally. The role will see you develop and define Marsh McLennan’s public policy interests and devise strategies to advance these interests with regional policymakers.
