The Role: To support a range of projects across our Building Engineering Service Team, HDR is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our Melbourne team. We currently provide commissioning services to a range of building services projects across Victoria, and we are looking for an experienced Cx Engineer or Commissioning Technician to join our global network. Undertake technical assessments of project schedules, drawings, manuals and technical submittals. Develop commissioning implementation plan, schedules, reports, checklists, and test scripts. Provide technical advice to clients in respect of project and operational risk. Work closely with general contractor’s team in developing commissioning strategies and processes which align fully with project objectives. Manage attendance and reporting of factory tests. Undertake and report on inspections and tests. Attend project and internal meetings as needed. Manage detailed recording of meetings. Record of detailed progress pre‑requisites. Provide routine progress reporting and final project close out report. Arrange third‑party sign off as necessary. About You: Demonstrated experience in commissioning or facility engineering, ideally working within the Mission Critical (Data Centre) and/or Health sectors. Experience conducting equipment inspection, Factory Witness Tests, and Factory Acceptance Tests. You communicate effectively and work well autonomously, as well as part of a team. You hold Australian Citizenship (Baseline or higher Australian Government Security Clearance, or eligibility to obtain) – required.
