The opportunity A fantastic opportunity is now available for a qualifiedHeavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of maintenance and servicing on Small Japanese trucks to Large North American Prime Movers and trailers. Including brands such as MAN, Western Star, Detroit, Kenworth, Mack, Volvo, Fuso, Hino and more. Ideally, if you are passionate about what you are doing and willing to work hard, this is the role for you. You might be a bit stale working in a dealer workshop, sick of the travel and lack of work/life balance at the mines or even looking to move interstate. This means we get access to training and parts for MAN Trucks, Western Star Trucks and Detroit. Requirements Passion for trucks - a passion for pulling them apart and putting them back together A good amount of experience in similar roles Current driver’s licence (other licences/training is an advantage) Self-motivated with a strong team player mindset Good communication skills are preferable Demonstrated cleanliness and neatness is essential Responsibilities On a day-to-day basis you’ll be involved in lots of different tasks. This helps you to learn a variety of roles and keeps your job fresh and interesting.
