Motor Mechanic

We at JAX Tyres & Auto Tweed Heads are seeking a skilled and motivated Motor Mechanic to join the team. As a full‑time Motor Mechanic, you will play a vital role in servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring our customers drive away with confidence and peace of mind. What you'll be doing Conducting vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs Performing maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and more Road testing vehicles to ensure the quality of repairs Accurately completing service documentation and job cards Communicating with customers to explain issues and proposed solutions Working collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines and maintain high service standards Following all safety protocols and company procedures What we're looking for Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic Automotive trade qualification and certificates Inspection Ticket preferred Experience managing and training apprentices (Advantageous) Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Excellent communication and teamwork skills A strong focus on safety and compliance with WHS regulations Available to work on Saturdays On offer Competitive hourly rate Exclusive Company benefits and discounts Access to the latest tools and equipment A supportive and professional work environment The chance to work with a passionate and skilled team Company Uniform About us JAX Tyres & Auto is a leading provider of tyre and automotive services in Australia, with a network of over 90 stores nationwide.
