About the Position Provide strategic and operational management support to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (PVC) of the Faculty of Arts and Society, ensuring quality and consistency of faculty service delivery. Serve as an advisor to the PVC and Faculty Executive on matters pertaining to University policies, operations, and business processes. Hold administrative responsibility for governance, strategic and operational planning, administrative services and support, the operational management of Faculty resources (people, physical and financial), external engagement activities, and the operations of the PVC office. Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational management support to the PVC of the Faculty of Arts and Society Advisory role to PVC and Faculty Executive on University policies, operations, and business processes Administrative responsibility for governance, strategic and operational planning Manage administrative services and support Oversee operational management of Faculty resources (people, physical, and financial) Lead external engagement activities Operate the PVC office Qualifications To be successful, you require a postgraduate level qualification (or working towards) in business management or other relevant discipline, plus experience or extensive experience and management knowledge combined with relevant experience and training. Outstanding planning skills and ability to establish and communicate a long-term strategic vision Extensive executive management experience and leadership skills; proven ability to manage diverse operations including student, corporate and business services across multiple locations Superior leadership and management skills, financial acumen, ability to build high-performing teams Highly effective cross-cultural, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; ability to negotiate, consult, influence, and establish strategic alliances Exceptional project management skills, proven record of managing and completing large, complex, organisation-wide projects including implementation and change management Understanding of organisational dynamics and change management methodologies, especially in higher education or similar sector Proficient in Information Management – manage digital files, documents and data using file management systems, cloud storage, and document collaboration tools Remuneration Appointment at Professional Level 10. Base salary $123,898 - $137,506 per annum. Total remuneration package $144,960 - $160,882 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
