Acting as the primary point of contact for the maintenance team, the supervisor is responsible for efficiently allocating maintenance tasks and ensuring timely resolution of issues. This role is essential in maintaining continuous production and minimizing downtime, thereby contributing to the overall effectiveness and reliability of operations. Responsibilities: Deliver daily operational support and guidance to maintenance team members across all work areas, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to safety standards. Prioritise and assign maintenance work requests efficiently, balancing urgency with team capacity to optimise workflow Manage relationships with third-party subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with agreed standards and safety protocols. Maintain and oversee the stock control system to ensure appropriate inventory levels for maintenance operations. Ensure accurate data entry and work history documentation using the MEX post-entry system. Collaborate with Production and Administration Managers to facilitate knowledge transfer and training related to new plant and machinery deployment. Establish and maintain effective communication processes to keep key stakeholders informed of project plans and maintenance schedules. Champion continuous improvement initiatives and actively contribute to root cause analysis and resolution of recurring maintenance issues. Approve team payroll submissions via Biotime, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. About You: Hold a minimum Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical, Electrical, or Fabrication (Trade Qualification). Demonstrated experience in maintenance supervision or a comparable leadership role within a technical environment. Strong organisational and task management capabilities, with a proven ability to prioritise and coordinate competing demands. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive team dynamics and stakeholder engagement Demonstrated proficiency in maintenance management systems, with hands‑on experience using MEX or similar systems would be highly regarded Ability to manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
