Please note that we ensure privacy and confidentiality for every applicant THE OPPORTUNITY A busy, long-established general dental practice in Mornington is seeking an experienced Associate Dentist to take over a strong and loyal patient base from a full‑time clinician who has been at the practice for over 5 years. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a full‑time Prosthodontist too. Every dentist in this practice is booked out from 3 weeks to 3 months in advance and with 160–170 new patients coming in every month consistently over the last few years, this is an excellent opportunity to walk into a highly productive, well‑supported role from day one. You’ll work in a large, modern practice supported by a Principal who is also a specialist Prosthodontist. Additionally, the Principal provides you with full autonomy to do your own cases – what you diagnose and treatment plan is what you do – there’s no need to refer cases to him unless it is outside your scope. While the clinic is focused on comprehensive general dentistry, the Principal is available for complex case discussions and mentorship, creating an excellent learning environment for a clinician looking to refine their skills while enjoying autonomy. The team here is tight‑knit and loyal, with the minimum current tenure being 5 years. This position is 4 days a week, and rest assured, you’ll be busy and have full books right from the start. What else is in it for you? 40% commission Full books from day one: Inheriting a patient base built over several years – all the dentists are booked out between 3 weeks and 3 months in advance at the moment Stability: 4 days a week with very strong books – you’ll be busy from the start Clinical scope: general dentistry and the areas you’d like to focus on as well – if you want to do implants, do implants, clear aligners go for it – due to the volume and variety of treatments requested, you’ll have the opportunity to do more dentistry Mentorship: Work with, or learn from a highly regarded Prosthodontist Strong clinical team: Work alongside several experienced clinicians Modern equipment: Access to CBCT, Trios scanners, and 3D printers General focus, ethical dentistry: Strong patient rapport and relationships‑based dentistry where patients are engaged Stable, consistent patient flow: A well‑known and respected practice serving the community for nearly 50 years and 160‑170 new patients a month consistently over the last few years Accessibility: working with a middle to upper socioeconomic patient base who readily accept treatment plans Supportive environment: Clinical autonomy with guidance when needed Coastal lifestyle: Work in a picturesque and affluent part of Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula ABOUT YOU 3+ years of Australian experience in private practice Confident with general dentistry and a wide variety of procedures Patient‑focused with excellent communication and ethical standards Open to growth and collaboration Looking for a long‑term role in a practice that values loyalty and integrity AHPRA registration without conditions Current professional indemnity insurance Does this sound like you?
