Centre Director – Sakura Early Learning Centre Prahran, Victoria | Brand New Service | Opening Early Next Year Sakura Early Learning Centre is a brand new, boutique early childhood service soon to open in the prestigious suburb of Prahran. Designed as a small, intimate and beautiful learning environment, the centre will be licensed for just 50 places, allowing for meaningful relationships, personalised care and a strong sense of community. We are seeking a mature, passionate and experienced Centre Director who is excited by the opportunity to build a new service from the ground up and work closely with the service provider to establish a warm, high-quality and community-focused centre. This role will suit someone who values connection, leadership, and excellence in early childhood education, and who is ready to take ownership of creating a nurturing and inspiring environment for children, families and educators. About the Role As Centre Director, you will: Lead the establishment and opening of Sakura Early Learning Centre Work directly with the service provider to develop systems, culture and operational foundations Build strong relationships with families and the local community Recruit, mentor and inspire a dedicated team of educators Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and relevant regulations Oversee day-to-day operations, enrolments and staffing Promote a positive, inclusive and collaborative workplace culture About You You are a nurturing and confident leader who: Is passionate about building community and meaningful relationships Has experience in managing or leading an early learning service Enjoys working in a small, boutique environment Is calm, professional and solution-focused Has strong communication and organisational skills Is genuinely committed to high-quality early childhood education Experience using Qikkids childcare management software Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education (or working towards) Previous experience leading a service through start-up or growth phase What We Offer Opportunity to shape and lead a brand new centre from inception Collaborative relationship with the service provider A beautiful, purpose-built learning environment Supportive and values-driven work culture Competitive salary package aligned with experience If you are a passionate and experienced early childhood professional ready to make a lasting impact and build a centre that truly feels like home, we would love to hear from you.
