Responsibilities Coach and support Indigenous students through their internships and their studies Deliver core training and events to students focusing on pre‑employment, professional and leadership skills, preparing them for internships and life after graduation Help to grow the CareerTrackers community by meeting and engaging with new students, working together to secure an internship that aligns with their career aspirations Build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with our university and community partners Be part of a team who are passionate about supporting and empowering the next generation of Indigenous leaders Success Indicators Forged strong relationships with your students and key stakeholders nationally Consistently understand and follow National Program delivery standards and practices, meeting KPIs with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement Consistently uphold the standard of excellence and keep students at the core of everything you do Benefits and Perks As an Advisor, shape the lives of CareerTrackers students and develop your own career with coaching to build your skills and confidence Access to industry experts who provide ongoing training and development Participate in our 3‑day national staff conference Professional development including access to world‑class training Exposure to some of Australia’s most influential corporate and community leaders Gain first‑hand insight into career pathways you may not have known existed Build your personal brand and acquire skills that accelerate your career Competitive salary progression opportunities Salary sacrificing opportunities available Who is this job for? The successful applicant will be degree qualified with demonstrated 2+ years experience in Student Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion, Careers Advising, Stakeholder Management, Education or similar. Skills and Experience Strong business acumen and is prepared to take initiative Excellent communication skills across all levels Passion for making connections and the demonstrated ability to build relationships within Indigenous communities and corporate Australia Proven leadership experience that inspires and engages peers, students and relevant stakeholders Can work independently, driving projects to completion, as well as part of a geographically dispersed national team Must have a current Working With Children Check or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
