Practice Manager – National Telehealth Mental Health Platform Join a purpose‑led mental health startup transforming how Australians access care. At Wellvue , psychiatrists and psychologists deliver care through one of Australia’s most trusted telehealth mental health platforms. We’re now seeking an experienced, motivated Practice Manager to help drive our next stage of growth — someone who combines strong operational skills with genuine warmth and leadership. Wellvue is a growing, Queanbeyan‑based telehealth service providing psychiatrist and psychologist‑led care across Australia. We value professionalism, empathy and teamwork, supporting clinicians so they can focus on delivering exceptional patient care. We’re a tight‑knit, supportive team who value kindness and clear communication. About the Role We’re looking for an experienced and organised Practice Manager to lead our administrative and operational functions. You’ll oversee a capable, friendly team, manage clinicians’ schedules and compliance, and strengthen the systems that keep our growing service running smoothly. You’ll be the key operational leader at Wellvue, empowered to manage daily operations with autonomy and work closely with the Director (who is part‑time in business operations) on strategic initiatives. This role requires calm, proactive problem‑solving, sound judgment and composure in a dynamic clinical environment. You’ll need to manage competing priorities with confidence and maintain professionalism when under pressure. This is a high‑impact leadership role at the heart of a fast‑growing startup. It’s suited to someone who thrives in dynamic, evolving environments and can lead while building structure from the ground up. This position suits someone who thrives on structure, clear communication and leading with calm confidence, and who understands the unique demands of mental health care. What You’ll Do Lead all day‑to‑day practice operations and administrative workflows. Manage and oversee clinician onboarding, scheduling, invoicing, and support across psychiatry and psychology. Oversee Medicare, billing and privacy compliance processes. Support continuous improvement of systems and processes (Halaxy, Coviu, and Google Workspace). Coach and mentor administrative staff, fostering a supportive and professional team culture. Work closely with the Director on growth and service quality initiatives. What You’ll Bring Minimum 5 years’ experience in senior medical administration or practice management. Experience in mental health or specialist healthcare services. Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Docs, Sheets). Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. High attention to detail and professionalism under pressure. Sound understanding of Medicare, billing, and privacy compliance. Proven ability to stay composed and organised during periods of high demand or rapid change. Warm, patient‑and‑clinician‑centred mindset with a practical leadership style. What You’ll Get Competitive salary ($110,000–$120,000 + super) — negotiable for exceptional experience. All equipment provided . Beautiful heritage office in Queanbeyan. A purpose‑led, close‑knit team focused on building structure and excellence as we grow. Clear pathway to Head of Operations or General Manager role as the company expands. If you’re an experienced practice manager who loves bringing order, calm and quality to a fast‑growing team, we’d love to hear from you. Please note: This is a full‑time, in‑office role based at our Queanbeyan office. #J-18808-Ljbffr
