This Teaching Specialist (Academic) position plays a key role in delivering high-quality, student-centred education across our suite of Engineering topics, with a particular focus on professional skills, student placements, and coordination of coursework project topics.As a Teaching Specialist, you will:* Create, coordinate and deliver inspiring teaching informed by contemporary educational practice.* Lead and contribute to curriculum development, topic and course coordination, and continuous quality improvement.* Support internal and external accreditation activities.*This position is open to international and interstate candidates. Visa and relocation support is available.***About You:**You are a motivated and collaborative educator who brings experience in engineering education and a passion for supporting student success. You thrive in a collegial, multi-disciplinary environment and enjoy leading teaching initiatives, embracing innovation, and building strong relationships with students, staff and industry partners.To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:* Completion of a PhD or EdD, or equivalent qualification in an area of engineering relevant to the education programs of the College. Tertiary qualifications in Education is desirable.* Evidence of successful teaching, training, mentoring, or supervision of students.* Experience in coordinating WIL placements or project topics.
