Roster: 7D7N14R FIFO ex Perth, Busselton or Karratha Solomon is seeking experienced All Rounder Ancillary and Excavator Operators who have operated some or all of the following equipment in a mining environment: D10T; Liebherr PR776 Dozers and 854 Wheel Dozer Liebherr 996, 9400, 9400e, 9250 and Cat 6040 Excavators As a Mining Operator, you will be directly involved in the day-to-day operations of our iron ore mine. You will be responsible for operating mobile equipment at maximum efficiency, contributing to the safe and efficient production of iron ore. You will work closely with your team and under the guidance of supervisory staff to meet production targets and uphold the highest standards of workplace safety. Key Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Conduct pre-start checks and routine inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure operational readiness and safety. Identify and report any safety hazards, equipment faults, or wear and tear to maintenance and supervisory staff. Comply with all safety guidelines, procedures and workplace instructions. Participate in safety briefings, meetings and training sessions. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets and operational objectives. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and efficiency. Qualifications and Experience Ability to skilfully operate some or all the equipment above. Mobile equipment operation in the mining industry is essential. Experience working on contours for drill preparation preferred. Ability to read mine plans. Knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act Regs. About Us Be part of something big.
