This small family owned Freight Forwarder are seeking a motivated Junior Office Assistant to join their team and support their daily operations in freight forwarding and logistics administration. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to start or build a career in the international freight and logistics industry. Duties and Responsibilities : General administration duties Basic accounting (processing charges, sending invoices for processing, processing bank statements) Checking Seafreight cargo availability, requesting charges and EDO's Customs - basic job registrations and sending pre-alerts Answering phones and emails Assisting clients and customers Role Requirements : Someone organised, reliable, and with great attention to detail Confident with Microsoft Office Word and Excel Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude Willing to learn about freight forwarding and logistics (you will be trained) - genuine desire to develop a career in this area, an advantage Previous office experience is helpful but not essential Confident & friendly manner Strong attention to detail If you’re someone who enjoys being part of a small team and likes the idea of getting in to this industry on the ground floor, we’d love to hear from you Interested applicants are encouraged to apply online or for further information please contact Deb Collie - .
