Your new role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager on an initial 6‑month contract to join a growing consulting business providing client‑facing services. You will be a great individual contributor but relish working as a team player in a highly collaborative, modern implementation environment. Responsibilities Define and establish projects, driving planning, scoping and business outcomes. Document business cases, work with procurement to develop contracts and create all associated traditional project documents. Work on multiple initiatives, develop planning strategies and identify cross‑project dependencies. Partner effectively with leadership, business partners, relationship managers, project sponsors, stakeholders, colleagues, and vendors in multiple locations. Identify project stakeholders, understand their needs, and establish clear communication channels. Manage stakeholder expectations, negotiate priorities, and facilitate decision‑making to ensure project success. Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies as needed. Implement effective change management practices to accommodate evolving project requirements. Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and security regulations throughout the project lifecycle. Experience & Personal Attributes Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration); advanced degree is a plus. Project management certification Prince2 or PMBOK required. Strong planning, organisational, and leadership skills, including the ability to mobilise and motivate teams, set direction and approach, resolve conflict, deliver tough messages with grace, and execute with limited information and ambiguity. Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills, including the ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
