Character Builders is seeking dynamic, energetic Casual Program Facilitators to join our growing team in 2026. If you are motivated, enthusiastic, love working with people, and are passionate about physical and mental wellbeing, this role could be perfect for you. We have multiple casual positions to fill immediately, with opportunities for the right people to progress to full-time. About the Role As a facilitator, you will help deliver high-quality programs, workshops and camps that develop resilience, teamwork, leadership and character in young people and adults. You will work alongside an experienced and supportive team as you grow your own professional skills in communication, leadership, problem-solving and program delivery. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a genuine difference in people’s lives, while gaining experience in the education, outdoor and wellbeing sectors. About You Passionate about Character Education, Outdoor Education & Pastoral Care Confident working with people of all ages (especially ages 5-18) A natural, motivational communicator who builds rapport quickly with students and teachers. Comfortable sharing personal stories and presenting to small and large groups with confidence. A desire to champion for and encourage others to be their best Open to learning, showing initiative and seeking continuous growth Adaptable and able to follow a schedule, yet flexible when plans change Excited to spend time outdoors, active, and engaged Start Date: January 2026 Casual Role: Monday–Friday (primarily working with schools) Shifts: Minimum 2–3 per week, with the option for more Location: Based in Brisbane, with a current driver’s licence & own vehicle Qualifications: Blue Card and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain with our team training) Travel: Regular travel to school camps and incursions across SEQ, including Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Brisbane & Mt Tamborine, plus occasional interstate trips Camps: Must be available for overnight stays (sometimes multiple nights during peak periods) Why Join Us Make a positive impact on young people and communities Grow your confidence, presence and conviction in front of a crowd Receive ongoing training, mentoring and support Build networks with schools, clubs and organisations Earn while you study and gain real-life experience in education Enjoy outdoor environments, active learning and travel Access opportunities for leadership and career progression Perfect for those on a gap year We are flexible around university timetables and offer pathways into future full-time roles for the right people.
