About the role Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with mental health and psychosocial disabilities selectability is seeking two experienced and motivated professionals to provide short-term leadership coverage for our team leaders during their upcoming leave periods. Leave coverage dates 22 December January 2026 22 December January 2026 These leadership roles require strong management capabilities a collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to enhancing mental health services within our community. About you To be considered for this rewarding role you will have: interest in developing skills to lead teams programs and services in mental health disability or community services excellent communication skills both verbal and written a demonstrated high level of attention to detail with a consistent approach a demonstrated ability to prioritise conflicting priorities as required ability to work under minimal supervision with the capacity to exercise initiative in the application of work processes and procedures and establish objectives and outcomes a demonstrated ability to show empathy and compassion a proven ability to think critically and approach challenges with innovation Role requirements certificate IV in Mental Health (desirable) occasional out of hours work may be required from time to time some travel to selectability sites may be required from time to time current nationally recognised first aid and CPR certificates (or ability to obtain) ability to work a rotating on call roster from time to time a Child Safety & Personal History Screening check - this requirement is mandatory. You cannot commence in this positive until a positive screening outcome is obtained a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain) NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain) NDIS Worker Orientation Module Quality Safety & You completion certificate (or the ability to obtain) a current minimum P1 C class Queensland drivers licence roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance About the offer The acting team leader positions arebased in Townsville.
