The Role Based in Dandenong South, an opportunity exists for highly skilled Maintenance Technicians to support either day or night shift operations of the business. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you are an experienced maintenance technician familiar with troubleshooting and maintaining latest technology processing, filling and packing equipment in a highly automated beverage and food manufacturing environment. There are open opportunities across both day and night shifts. The night shift generally operates from 10pm, with some flexibility available provided the hours continue to meet the needs of the business. There is overtime for planned and unplanned maintenance on some weekends. What’s on offer: A competitive salary package aligned to your level of experience and suitability for the role Participation in company’s Performance Bonus plan Support provided for ongoing training and development Additional Annual Leave days (Birthday & Volunteer Leave) Paid Parental Leave for Primary & Secondary Carers Onsite car parking is provided Working within a brand new, state of the art facility Access to exclusive offers and discounts Free and confidential Employee Assistance Program Required Experience and Attributes Minimum 3 years’ experience in a maintenance role in an automated production environment Experience working on high‑speed aseptic lines Hands on approach with an understanding of automated equipment Experience in preventative / corrective repair and maintenance of both mechanical and pneumatic equipment Ability to fault find equipment issues in a timely manner Strong organisation skills working on your own and as part of a team environment Excellent communications skills Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality Food & Beverage industry experience preferred Experience with PLC / SCADA controlled plant and equipment highly regarded Experience with Krones / Blow moulders & Fillers highly regarded Experience with process equipment such as Alfa Laval valves, tetra replacing gaskets mechanical seals, etc. We want to learn about you.
