About the Role We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our dedicated teaching team. The ideal applicant will have the ability and experience to teach English at the HSC level , while also contributing to the broader English curriculum across various year levels. The position is in a dynamic faculty that welcomes the input of all staff. For this position we are looking for someone: With the ability to differentiate for single‑sex classes (boys and girls) Experienced in differentiating for mixed ability classes With experience teaching Stage 6. Advanced English experience would be advantageous Capable of utilising technology to engage students with the learning process Willing to engage in ongoing faculty discussion and process, and assist with extra‑curricular programs (debating, public speaking etc.) With excellent communication skills. All applicants must be confident in email and willing to develop their understanding of the Google Suite With strong organisational skills Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective English lessons, with a focus on HSC readiness Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters student engagement and success. Assess and provide feedback to students on their progress and academic performance. Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive and effective learning community. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge. Requirements Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in teaching English. Passion for teaching and commitment to student success. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with NSW Curriculum and Assessment framework. Working with Children Check clearance.
