We are proud partners of some of the world’s largest and most iconic venues, and we are leading sports and entertainment event promoters globally.We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Corporate Counsel to join TEG’s award-winning Legal & Compliance team to advise across a broad portfolio of 30+ businesses on six continents. Our team members are valued advisors who partner closely with all facets of our businesses throughout ANZ, UK/Europe, Asia and US, using passion, expertise and commercial judgment to deliver swift, strong, pragmatic outcomes, manage legal risk and uphold our regulatory and contractual obligations.You will be joining a dedicated high performing team with a supportive leader who is committed to working with you to develop and grow. The team advise on a high volume of contracting and commercial matters, as well as brand rights, privacy & data governance, dispute resolution, compliance, company secretarial and various strategic projects and initiatives, living TEG’s purpose to be a world leader in connecting fans with the experiences they loveAbout The RoleReporting to the Group General Counsel, and working closely with other team members and TEG stakeholders, you will:Build RelationshipsProvide robust business support and develop strong business partnering relationships.Assist in liaising with external providers and regulatory agencies.Be a Trusted Advisor:Keep stakeholders up to date on legislative and regulatory changes.Foster a culture of compliance through continuous learning and professional development and sharing this knowledge within the team.Promote preventative legal measures, including training programs and templates to build behavioural buy-in to compliance and risk management.Support the Day-to-Day:Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements according to client needs across various business units in ticketing, live entertainment, venues, sponsorship and market research/ data analytics.Provide sound legal support to underpin commercial outcomes in our daily operations including assisting stakeholders with commercial discussions as required.Ensure advertising, marketing and promotional activities adhere to statutory & contractual obligations.Advise on the regulatory environment including competition and consumer law, e-commerce and privacy/data governance.Apply approved policies and practices to ensure quality legal advice to stakeholders.Monitor, identify and escalate legal issues and risks i.e. be the eyes and ears of the business.About YouYou have a degree in Law – Admitted as a solicitor in NSW or other Australian State.You have
