Teacher Librarian - Greenacre Public School Greenacre Public School is a dynamic primary school delivering primary education from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school is located in the inner south west of metropolitan Sydney. Established in 2024 The school is led by a team of highly committed teachers, support and ancillary staff ensuring the specific needs of our children are met in safe and responsive learning environments. Key Responsibilities Promote and manage the school library as a learning hub that engages, inspires and extends all learners through research‑based teaching and learning practices. Support literacy and numeracy instruction using library resources and data to inform practice. Develop and implement strategies to encourage critical and creative thinking among students. Qualifications and Experience Full approval to teach K‑6. Approval to teach primary library or currently undertaking, or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education. Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills with an ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community. Conditions Unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity. Appointment Details Closing Date: 10-Dec-2024 5:00 AM Remuneration package valued at up to $156,000. Base salary ranges from $90,000 to $137,000, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.
