It has 7 offices situated throughout Australia. It has a collaborative culture, sharing projects and expertise between offices. The structural design team works fluidly with the structural design teams in its other offices of which there are around 18-20 structural design engineers. Mentoring happens with everybody despite location and the design team is led by a Lead Structural Design Engineer who has worked on some of Australia's most prestigious projects. The company has a wellness and rewards program which includes investment in external education courses, paid leave days for hitting your work anniversary, flexible working options including a 9‑day working fortnight etc. About the role Due to growth we are seeking Senior Structural Design Engineers who have worked in a similar Engineering Consultancy environment. The Senior Structural Engineer will work heavily on Industrial projects. The client is designing some of the largest Industrial projects and manufacturing facilities in Australia and has a long‑term relationship with a leading builder in the sector. You will work on projects in Sydney / NSW and interstate. About the candidate A minimum of 6+ years' of Structural design experience Previous Structural Engineering experience with an Engineering Consultancy on Industrial projects Exposure to working and designing using structural steel. Significant project experience in Australia Strong work ethic Team player, adaptable and flexible Familiar with a range of software programs Excellent communication skills including report writing Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards Demonstrated understanding of Engineering codes, construction standards, specs, procedures and construction techniques and materials Established team, with supportive environment Strong focus on company culture Support provided for external training courses, Chartership etc. Flexible working in the form of a 9‑day working fortnight A career company, somewhere where you can really feel that your achievements are being rewarded Encouragement for personal development and career growth / plans Sydney CBD office location very close to public transport links How to apply Please submit a full professional resume highlighting your experience with the above criteria to (emailprotected) or call Alex Stephen on for a confidential chat.
