Happy Days Early Learning Centres (ELCs) are safe, supportive spaces offering high quality early learning education and care for children aged six weeks to five years old. About the role The Early Childhood Educator is a vital member of the Early Learning team in the delivery of our Children’s Programs in the community. This role requires: A genuine love and passion for working with children and families, be energetic, enthusiastic and motivated in joining our dynamic team An understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework Facilitating a diverse learning experience in an inclusive environment for all children, their families and employees Encouraging children's independence in relation to health and wellbeing Role modelling for children in developing lifelong skills and instilling in them a passion for learning Nurturing the curiosity of children in your care, expanding their skillset and overall development This is a Casual opportunity, with above award rates of $37 - $39 per hour depending on qualifications held. There is access to staff parking for a small fee, alternatively there is free parking in the commuter car park, subject to availability. We have a covered outdoor environment with access to a small natural environment. There are five rooms where we educate and care for the children based on different age groups. Happy Days Macarthur Square Early Learning Centre is operated by YMCA Victoria, based in Melbourne. Our Vision is a better tomorrow where all people can belong. With over 5,000 staff and volunteers, we deliver services at more than 150 locations every day, including: Children’s Programs, Kingswim, Action Sports, Camps, Recreation, Youth Services and Virtual Y.
