Description Vet Manager (VIC / TAS) Location : East Malvern, VIC At VetPartners, we are committed to providing exceptional shared services support that enables our veterinary clinics to deliver high standards of care and achieve sustainable success. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Manager to lead clinical excellence across our VIC / TAS region. In this pivotal position, you will serve as the primary clinical advocate for our clinics, guiding standards of care, supporting team capability, and contributing to both clinical and commercial performance. Working closely with Regional Managers and clinic leaders, you will utilise your veterinary expertise to shape strategy, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen cohesion within the regional operations team. Responsibilities Lead with Purpose – Champion clinical standards and continuously elevate the quality of care Ensure Compliance – Support clinics to meet all legislative and regulatory requirements Grow Capability – Drive clinical development, coaching, and education across teams Build Community – Create a connected, supportive environment across our veterinary teams Showcase VetPartners – Advocate for the benefits of our network, including our Veterinary Training Centre Contribute to Veterinary Services – Collaborate across the wider Veterinary Services group Support Governance – Present, adopt, and embed Medical Advisory Board protocols and policies Strengthen Our Teams – Play an active role in recruiting veterinarians and ensuring a positive cultural fit About You You are a confident and capable veterinary professional with a strong commitment to excellence in clinical standards and team development. Your leadership style is supportive, structured, and collaborative, and you bring a high level of emotional intelligence to your interactions. You thrive in roles that combine clinical expertise with strategic thinking and take pride in helping teams operate at their best. You are both a strong communicator and a trusted advisor, able to influence, guide, and build positive relationships across diverse teams. Candidate Requirements Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) Current Veterinary Board Registration User's licence for Ionising Radiation Microchipping accreditation Willingness and flexibility to travel across the VIC / TAS region Minimum of 3 years' experience in a veterinary leadership role with demonstrated oversight of caseloads and clinical standards Strong collaboration and relationship‑building skills, supported by high emotional intelligence Proven ability to coach, mentor, and support professional development Excellent written and verbal communication skills Sound financial acumen, including confidence interpreting and reporting P/L statements Benefits Shared Purpose – Join a passionate community dedicated to advancing animal healthcare and making a positive impact on pets and their owners.
