This role requires strong coordination skills, operational excellence, and the ability to manage multiple releases across complex environments. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the release calendar , ensuring alignment with project timelines and business priorities. Define and enforce release governance processes , including approvals, risk assessments, and compliance checks. Coordinate with development, QA, operations, and business teams to plan, schedule, and execute releases. Monitor release readiness, dependencies, and potential risks; implement mitigation strategies. Facilitate release planning meetings , status updates, and stakeholder communications. Ensure proper documentation of release notes, deployment plans, and rollback strategies. Drive continuous improvement in release management processes and tools. Support incident management and post-release reviews to identify lessons learned. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in Release Management , Project Governance , or IT Operations . Strong understanding of SDLC , DevOps practices , and CI/CD pipelines . Experience managing releases in multi-platform environments (cloud, on-prem, hybrid). Proficiency in release management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
