At Cornerstone Construction, we’ve been delivering high-quality community and commercial projects for over 20 years. As part of an integrated healthcare development group, we specialise in creating state-of-the-art primary and specialised healthcare hubs across Australia – centres of excellence that bring together multi-disciplinary care under one roof. We’re now entering the next stage of our latest landmark 9-storey healthcare project in Gosford, featuring three levels of basement parking and five storeys above ground, scheduled for completion in 2027. With excavation complete and the build phase commencing, we’re seeking a capable and motivated HSEQ Supervisor to join our site team and drive safety, quality and compliance across all site operations. The Role Supported by the HSEQ Manager at our Head Office in QLD and site based Project Manager, the HSEQ Supervisor will play a key role in the effective supervision and implementation of Workplace Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards on site throughout the construction phase. Key responsibilities include: Reviewing subcontractor High Risk SWMS and providing feedback Conducting site‑specific safety inductions and maintaining competency records Leading regular toolbox talks and safety briefings Carrying out site safety inspections and communicating non‑conformances to the project team and subcontractors Working collaboratively to rectify issues and educate the workforce Ensuring all new plant and equipment receive inductions prior to use Maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders to drive continuous improvement Overseeing first aid and emergency response equipment on site Managing the Project Safety Plan and facilitating monthly reviews Maintaining the Quality Plan and collecting ITPs from subcontractors About You We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised and passionate about safety and quality in construction. You’ll bring: Current qualifications relevant to WHS and site supervision in construction Demonstrated experience managing safety on large‑scale or multi‑level construction projects Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective site relationships A practical, solutions‑focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement Why Cornerstone?
