About the role JSG Constructions pty ltd is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our growing team in Toowoomba, QLD. As a Carpenter, you will play a vital role in the construction and renovation of residential and commercial properties, utilising your expertise in carpentry and cabinet making. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the success of our company and develop your career in the trades and services industry. What you'll be doing Interpret and follow architectural plans and drawings to construct, install and repair various wooden structures such as framing, roofing, flooring, stairs, doors, windows and cabinetry. Measure, cut, shape and assemble wooden components to specification. Utilise hand and power tools proficiently and safely to complete carpentry tasks. Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors and clients to ensure successful project delivery. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior carpenters and apprentices. What we're looking for Formal qualification in Carpentry such as a Certificate III in Carpentry. Minimum 3-5 years of practical experience working as a Carpenter in the construction industry. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Highly skilled in the use of a wide range of hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to a high standard of finish. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
